Terms of Service

Effective November 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and JumpPath, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("JumpPath," "we," "us"). They govern your use of the website and web application at jumppath.app (the "Service"). By creating an account, making a purchase, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use JumpPath

The Service is offered only to residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service you confirm that both are true. One account is for one person. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.

2. JumpPath is an educational tool, not financial advice

Please read this section carefully.

  • JumpPath provides general educational information, calculators, and illustrative projections. It does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
  • JumpPath is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, or tax professional, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by your use of the Service.
  • JumpPath does not recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any security or other investment. Archetypes and paths are educational categories that describe general approaches to building wealth. They are not recommendations that any approach is suitable for you.
  • Your Jump Date and every other projection are estimates. They are calculated from the numbers you provide and from stated assumptions about things like returns, expenses, and time. They are hypothetical, they are not guarantees or predictions, and actual results will differ. All investing involves risk, including loss of money.
  • JumpPath does not hold your money, cannot move your money, and cannot make transactions in your accounts.
  • You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consider speaking with a qualified professional who knows your full situation before acting.

3. Your information

The results you see depend on the information you enter. You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Connected financial accounts

You may choose to connect financial accounts through Plaid Inc. Connecting is optional. By connecting an account, you authorize JumpPath and Plaid to retrieve your account information, such as balances, for use in the Service, and you agree that Plaid will handle your information under its End User Privacy Policy. Access is read-only. Information from connected accounts may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and you should rely on your financial institution for official balances. You can disconnect an account at any time.

5. Founding Membership

This section applies if you buy a Founding Membership. The Founding Membership is a one-time offer for our first members, sold before our public launch.

Price. $99 per year, plus any applicable sales tax. You are charged when you purchase.

Who can buy. The first 50 members only. The offer closes when 50 Founding Memberships have been sold or on March 15, 2027, whichever comes first.

When service begins. Paid service is scheduled to begin on March 15, 2027 (the "Launch Date"). Your first membership year runs for twelve months from the Launch Date.

Full refund before launch. You may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund of the amount you paid at any time before the Launch Date by emailing support@jumppath.app. We will send the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

If launch is delayed. If paid service has not begun by March 15, 2027, we will tell you. Your right to a full refund continues until the day paid service actually begins, and your first membership year starts on that day instead.

Early access. We may invite Founding Members to try pre-release versions of the Service before the Launch Date. Early access is free, is not part of the paid membership, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, and does not affect your right to a refund.

Locked price. Your membership renews each year at $99 for as long as it remains continuously active. If you cancel or your membership lapses, the locked price ends and any later subscription will be at the standard price then in effect.

First renewal. March 15, 2028, or one year after paid service begins if launch is delayed. Renewal works as described in Section 6.

6. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

  • Standard price. After the Founding Membership offer closes, the standard subscription for any non-Founding Member is $120 per year.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically on the anniversary date of your subscription for successive one-year terms, and we will charge your payment method on file, until you cancel.
  • Renewal reminders. We will email a reminder between 15 and 30 days before each renewal. It will state the price, the date you will be charged, the last date to cancel to avoid the charge, and how to cancel.
  • How to cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account settings or by emailing support@jumppath.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
  • Refunds. Except for the Founding Membership refund right in Section 5, or where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable and we do not give partial refunds for unused time.
  • Price changes. We may change standard subscription prices with at least 30 days notice by email. A change applies at your next renewal. This does not affect a locked Founding Membership price.
  • Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars, and applicable taxes may be added. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid features until it succeeds.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for anything unlawful; access or try to access another person's account or data; interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security; copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service or its content; or use the Service to build a competing product.

8. Ownership

JumpPath and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, archetypes, and calculations. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes while these Terms are in effect. The information you enter remains yours. You give us permission to use it to operate, secure, and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Pre-release features and changes to the Service

The Service is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and pre-release features may contain errors. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce paid features.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Plaid and Stripe and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, JumpPath disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any information or projection is accurate or complete, or that you will achieve any financial result by using the Service.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JumpPath and its member(s), officers, representatives, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, investment losses, or lost data, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, even if we have been told such damages are possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or $100. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Your responsibility to us

If your violation of these Terms or of the law causes a third party to bring a claim against JumpPath, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service or end your access for a reason other than your violation of these Terms, we will refund the unused portion of any period you have prepaid. Sections 2, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 17 continue to apply after these Terms end.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to email support@jumppath.app with a description of the dispute and to give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Any claim that is not resolved will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you and JumpPath consent to those courts.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree to the change, you may cancel before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. We will not shorten the Founding Membership refund right or raise a locked Founding Membership price by changing these Terms.

17. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and JumpPath about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You agree that we may send you notices and agreements electronically, including by email.
