Privacy Policy

Effective September 24, 2026

This policy explains what information JumpPath collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, email support@jumppath.app.

1. Who we are and who this covers

JumpPath is operated by JumpPath, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("JumpPath," "we," "us"). This policy covers the website and web application at jumppath.app (the "Service").

JumpPath is an educational financial planning tool. It is offered only to United States residents who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your email address, name, and date of birth.
  • Financial information you choose to enter, such as income, expenses, account balances, debts, and the figures you enter at monthly check-ins.
  • Your answers to the assessment questions.
  • Anything you send us when you contact support.

Information we create

  • Your assessment results, including your archetype, scores, and Jump Date projections.
  • Your habit and check-in history in the app.

Connected financial accounts (optional)

You may choose to connect financial accounts through Plaid Inc. If you do, we receive the institution name, account names and types, current balances, and an account identifier and secure access token issued by Plaid. You give your bank login to Plaid directly. We never see or store it. We do not receive or store bank account numbers, routing numbers, or transaction history. Plaid handles your information under its own End User Privacy Policy at plaid.com/legal.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiration date, and security code go directly to Stripe and are never stored by JumpPath. We receive confirmation of payment, the name on the card, and limited card details such as card type and last four digits.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service we and our service providers collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages and features you use, dates and times of use, and error reports. Some of this is collected with cookies, described in Section 6.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or precise location.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the Service, including calculating your results and projections.
  • To create and maintain your account and process payments.
  • To send service messages such as check-in reminders, receipts, and notices about changes to our terms or this policy.
  • To send product updates and marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
  • To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our terms.

We do not use your financial information or connected account data for advertising. We do not use your information to make lending, insurance, employment, housing, or similar decisions about you.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here.

Service providers

These companies process information on our behalf, under contract, to help us run the Service:

  • Base44: application hosting, database, account login, and email delivery.
  • Plaid: connecting financial accounts, if you choose to.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Google: business email, Google Sign-In if you choose it, web fonts, and website analytics.
  • Sentry: error monitoring.

Advertising partners

We use advertising tools from Meta and TikTok on our public marketing pages only. These tools collect browsing information, such as pages visited and device identifiers, to measure our ads and show JumpPath ads to people who may be interested. Some state laws call this "sharing" or "targeted advertising." These tools are never placed on pages inside your logged-in account. We never send advertising partners your financial information, your assessment results, or customer lists. You can opt out as described in Section 7.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JumpPath, our users, or others.

Business transfers

If JumpPath is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Connected financial accounts

Connecting an account is optional. You can enter balances by hand instead. Our access through Plaid is read-only. JumpPath cannot move money, make trades, or initiate transfers from your accounts.

You can disconnect a connected account at any time using the option in your settings, where available, or by emailing support@jumppath.app. When you disconnect an account or delete your JumpPath account, we revoke the connection with Plaid and delete the associated access token from our systems.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Essential: keep you logged in, protect your account, and help Stripe prevent payment fraud.
  • Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site.
  • Advertising: used on public marketing pages only, as described in Section 4.

You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie preferences link on our site or through your browser settings. More detail is available at jumppath.app/cookies. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. Please use the opt-out described in Section 7 instead.

7. Your choices and rights

No matter which state you live in, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete your account and personal information.
  • Opt you out of targeted advertising.
  • Stop sending you marketing emails.

To make a request, visit jumppath.app/privacy-request or email support@jumppath.app from the email address on your account. We may ask for information to verify your identity. We respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal in writing. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general. You may use an authorized agent to make a request if you give them written permission. We will never treat you differently for exercising these rights.

8. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information from our active systems within 30 days. Copies in backups are removed on the normal backup cycle. We keep payment and tax records for up to seven years as required by law. If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we keep your email address on a suppression list so that we do not email you again.

9. How we protect information

We treat financial information as sensitive and use it only to provide the Service. Our safeguards include access rules that limit each user to their own records, encrypted connections, server-side storage of Plaid access tokens that cannot be read from a browser, and two-factor authentication on our administrative accounts. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will post the new version and email you before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when the policy was last updated.
